Johanna Yoo
is a jack-of-all-trades marketing expert with ten years of experience in sales-oriented copywriting, brand management, content development and design, and all things digital marketing. Born and raised in the Virginia Beach area, she traded her beach kid roots for city ambitions and moved to the DC Metro area in 2012. After graduating with a B.A. in fashion marketing in 2014, she worked in several industries, including fashion, IT, and healthcare technology and services.
Before joining the UTA Speakers, she worked at the Washington Speakers Bureau as Marketing Director and, prior to that, led ICM Speakers’ marketing department. For Johanna, successful marketing is all about building relationships. She believes every touch point - a website, an email, a social media post - is a chance to develop and deepen that connection.
Johanna resides in Northern Virginia with her husband, their daughter, and their two dogs.
